As we embark on the shifts to the CCSS, it is more and more important that we lean on one another. Sharing our understandings and thinking about what it means to teach “aligned to the CCSS” will make a difference for our students. Some of our WORD members share at local events and others share with a wider audience. If you haven’t signed up, “What’s in Your Book Bag III?” will be a great place to share and learn with the Snohomish County Reading Council. Click here for: SCRC Event
Heather Rader, author and literacy consultant, is maintaining a blog to help literacy leaders think about our work. Enjoy reading ideas on her blog: Coach to Coach
If you have blogs or resources you think our members would benefit from, please feel free to send them our way!
