Gold Passport Membership!

Gold Passport Membership includes:

  • ¬†WaSLA Membership (July 1 – June 30)
  • Local Council Membership (you designate which local council you would like to be affiliated with)
  • 12 Prepaid Virtual Events (Important: You must register for each event in order to receive the Zoom invite and necessary information about the event)
  • The chance to win a free book written by one of our guest speaker/authors sometime during the 2021-22 year!

State and Local Councils provide a connection to WaSLA and ILA by…

  1. Sponsoring literacy opportunities with educators around the state.
  2. Providing a setting for highly qualified literacy presenters and speakers.
  3. Representing your region on the state WaSLA board in conjunction with ILA and the literacy initiatives around the globe.

Gold Passport Member

(Includes year membership and all 12 prepaid events)

All Educators (Certificated, contracted, first year teachers, school administrators and college professors; substitute, non-contracted, and pre-service teachers, para-educators and retired educators) $150 per year
plus $11.26 processing fee

Silver Regular Member

(Discount on events signed up to attend)

All other educators (Certificated teachers, contracted teachers, school administrators, and college professors) $25 per year
plus $3.29 processing fee

Bronze Associate Member

(Discount on events signed up to attend)

First year teachers, substitute teachers, non-contracted teachers, pre-service teachers, para-educators and retired educators. $15 per year
plus $2.65
processing fee

Note from OSPI: Beginning on September 1, 2019, renewal applications for initial, residency, professional, and continuing teacher and CTE certificates must document completion of at least 15 clock hours, or at least one goal from an annual professional growth plan (PGP).
